Background

Olivia Li is an eye surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London where she is a fellow in cornea and locum consultant in accident and emergency. She graduated from the University of Cambridge and completed her clinical studies at Imperial College where she graduated with best overall performance in medicine. She is undertaking research in utilising and implementing digital innovations including machine learning to support clinicians in diagnosing and managing anterior segment diseases, with a focus on keratoconus and infectious keratitis. She also has an interest safe and effective eye care delivery in the post-pandemic era and has lead safety evaluations of telemedicine services. She also teaches on the UCL Postgraduate Certificate in Telemedicine and the UCL Data Science for Clinicians courses.
