Background

My main research interests are natural language processing applied to extracting medical ontologies, through which many clincical and research processes can be accelerated. It also potentially enables new, interesting applications in the field of inherited eye disease.

My previous experiences involve developing Deep Neural Network for eye disease detection using color fundus images; designing and developing EHR system for ophthalmology; Decision Support System that incoporates both imaging data and other clinical evidences using Knowledge Graph
