Nathaniel Kabiri, MSci

Honorary Research Assistant

Background

The benefit of applying artificial intelligence to medical research has already been demonstrated by institutions such as Moorfields Eye Hospital. Achieving this potential is contingent on its application to experimental data from the ground up. This includes laboratory and data-analysis processes, which could be automated or at least improved using AI.

My research combines this philosophy with a strong interest in ophthalmology and a background in the life sciences: I wrote a thesis on the biochemistry of AMD during my Biochemistry MSci at UCL
